Dogs are not particularly difficult to figure out, especially when it comes to toys. They tend to love the same items, so you can easily pick out a toy that your dog is sure to love. With that in mind, know that your dog loves to tug, pull, and fetch. They also love items that light up or make noise. If you purchase any dog products that fit these characteristics, there’s a good chance your puppy will be amused for the entire life of the toy.
The only thing to keep in mind is that dog toys are completely safe for your animal. To that end, make sure the toy doesn’t pose a choking threat. This is one of the most common problems posed by dog toys. Also make sure the paint used on the toy is safe for animal consumption, because your dog is very likely to chew the toy. Also make sure the toy is durable enough to withstand all the abuse that it will be put through. After all, even the gentlest dog can really rip a toy apart!
While my dog Joe used to be an indoor dog, he’s always had a fondness for chewing, and when he started gnawing on the furniture is when I decided he needed to spend more time outdoors. Joe comes inside all the time, but he sleeps outside. I wanted to make sure he was warm outside, so I bought him a dog house and also ensured he was up to date on his dog flea control. We still bring Joe in the house on really cold nights, but with his dog house I think he’d still be warm enough outside. I also want to make sure he doesn’t get fleas, so I clean out his dog house often and make sure he’s given adequate flea control.
Joe doesn’t seem to mind being an outdoor dog, in fact now that he has all kinds of sticks and trees to chew on all the time, he seems much happier.
